The official Twitter account of the official football league of the country of Armenia, Total Sport, confirmed today that it has signed a contract with the Turkish Football Federation to create a new professional football league.
“Total Sport will soon launch its own professional league based in Istanbul, Turkey,” the Twitter account tweeted.
“It will be based on the best soccer players and coaches of the Turkish Federation, who will be appointed as players and captains.”
Total Sport was founded in 2015 and has already won numerous international championships.
The team will play in Turkey’s top division, the Turkish Super League, which is based in Adana.
It will also play in the Eredivisie, the lower division of the European Football League.
The club will be led by former Arsenal striker Hakan Ergin, who won the league in 2013.
